The Kitty Hawk’s ‘Department Store of Dining’ takes over Moorgate

A new expansive venue catering to over 400 people is set to launch in the heart of the City this month. Dubbed ‘the department store of dining’, the eating complex will consist of a coffee shop, a bar, and an all-day dining area.

The Kitty Hawk is the brainchild of the Wright & Bell group, a new restaurant company that plans to open several similarly large-scale venues across London in the coming years.

The idea behind the concept is simple, the ‘department store’ is built for any occasion – and will act as an extension of the workplace, perfect for mobile working and after work drinks with colleagues.

The food and drink across The Kitty Hawk will no doubt offer something for everyone. The coffee bar and patisserie will serve breakfasts and lunches to eat either in or order to go, offering the usual artisan coffee and freshly-baked cakes and pastries made in house.

By night, the space will transform into a wine bar for private hire and the restaurant will be serving delicious flatbreads made freshly in the fire dome oven in front of diners overlooking the kitchen and award-winning meats will be sourced from British butchers.
