Kiln – rural Thai grill in Soho

For lovers of all things Thai food, Kiln promises to bring  rural flavour to Soho. The side-of-the-road-type eatery is the second to be opened by the guys behind Denmark St favourite, Smoking Goat.

The food is being kept simple with a short grill menu and a daily noodle specialty. The restaurant aims to take direction from the simplicity of rural Thai cuisine, as Burmese and Yunanese flavours are the main source of inspiration.

There is also home-grown inspiration as the menu is created with British produce in mind – think northern-style offal larbs, Yunnan-cured sausage, suckling pig and curried cockles.

The wine list is also low intervention.

Kiln, 58 Brewer St, London, W1F 9TL
