Hip Hop Brunch feat Fatman Scoop | Review

Ever brunched to the sound of Fatman Scoop, live? No? Well, neither had we. So there was no way we were passing down the opportunity to spend a Saturday afternoon at London’s original Hip Hop Brunch, to celebrate their fourth birthday.

Now, this brunch is definitely not all about the food and booze – but they’re pretty decent too. A three course ‘Dirty South’ lunch menu is served up (think chicken, mac n cheese) alongside one hour of bottomless cocktails to start the day off. The cocktails are juicy, the service is friendly and there’s no queuing to get your drinks topped up, so you’ll really make the most of the bottomless hour.

Before the big man himself hit the stage, we were entertained by MC hosts, award winning (and insanely impressive) magicians and sang along to the infamous Hip Hop Karaoke. Fatman Scoop did not disappoint, either – transporting us back to our secondary school years, we’ve never danced so hard at a boozy brunch.

Because of all this, we’re not surprised that in four years Hip Hop Brunch have sold over 30,000 tickets and booked over 30 secret venues (which, to add to the hype, are only revealed a few days before).

Now, we can’t promise Fatman Scoop will be there, but thanks to its awesome party vibes we recommend the brunch for a get together with a big bunch of friends. Or, better yet, why not show your mates who don’t live in London how we do brunch?

There’s loads of upcoming dates, so bag your tickets here: http://www.hiphopbrunchldn.com/
